{"id":55461,"date":"2020-01-19T04:23:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T10:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/?p=55461"},"modified":"2020-01-19T08:01:57","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T14:01:57","slug":"more-piecing-and-quilting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/2020\/01\/more-piecing-and-quilting\/","title":{"rendered":"More Piecing and Quilting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Y\u2019all will get tired of seeing Christmas blocks soon and I\u2019m sure I will work on other things as well to show.\u00a0 But I got one more block done for a total of four now and I really like the mixed backgrounds.\u00a0 I wasn\u2019t too sure on this last one, I was thinking maybe it was more print then would work out but when I put it with the other ones I think it will work out<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG_6694-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"IMG_6694 (2)\" src=\"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG_6694-2_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6694 (2)\" width=\"681\" height=\"767\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>\n<p>But with the others \u2013 ok or not?\u00a0 I will make a couple extra blocks probably just in case I have some that don\u2019t quite go with it and for those of you really observant you will notice that I was a tad short on one piece and put two pieces together<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG_6695-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"IMG_6698\" src=\"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG_6698_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6698\" width=\"1012\" height=\"760\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>\n<p>and knitting and with temperatures getting cooler I will probably be in the house more today.\u00a0 Melanie and I got in a short walk yesterday at the trails before we went grocery shopping but it was so windy that we only did a mile and then ran around two grocery stores for more exercise \u2013 really if you move fast and grab what you need and don\u2019t be pokey you can get in more steps!\u00a0 It said it was 54 outside but it felt like it was in the low 40\u2019s for sure with that wind.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/karensquilting.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG_6699.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline;
