I am quilting on two different projects right now and I have 5 other tops in progress – some very close to finish and others just beginning. Three quilt tops are waiting to be quilted – soon to be 4. Someone asked so there it is 
The 2 that I am hand quilting are the Red and Green Applique – I cranked it down on Saturday and now I am officially 1/3 of the way done! Way to Go! I just about see the complete large center square now – That is the lamp end sticking in the way – sorry – I just noticed it or I would have moved it.
This is the end I began to work on last night.
The other quilt is the Pinwheel Quilt. I do not remember where I got this pattern and I will have to search my blog for it. I know I made it towards the end of last year – I don’t remember if I got the pattern on line or in a book. I will look and see – I had someone ask.
This much done – I am marking only the echo line on the white with the blue pen, the rest is a quarter inch from the seams (estimate I am not measuring)
This is the back – a moda marble yellow color – I say yellow color because it is not a true yellow but more of a maize maybe?
I did also get a little more of the applique on the 4th border of POTC but no finish – looks the same basically so I took no photo. Another couple days of work?

I finally ordered one of the thimbles like yours. It seems to work really well but I need to get used to it more. I’m still having trouble with quilting away from me, any hints? If you should know the person who made these it might be suggested that the little indents be on both sides.

Thanks for posting your progress! I so enjoy seeing the hand stitching technique! There is no way to duplicate the feel and look of a hand pieced and quilted quilt. Beautiful! Hugs…….
Your making real progress! I hope to start quilting my red and green in late October. Not sure what I want to do yet? I am getting excited about pulling it out and doing some marking, as I watch yours progress. Still need to finish up a couple of applique blocks and piece my pumpkin seed quilt. If only there were more hours in the day!
