Real Studio Tour–Part II for Vicki

Before I forget about it I need to get this post done.   Vicki over at Field Trips in Fiber is doing a linky party for what our studios look like – this week is what kind of storage do you use.

I use all kinds of storage and a lot of times it is a mess – although some is very organized.  I love these boxes – they are about 6 x 10 inches – I stack scrap fabric in them – and I have boxes for almost all sizes – these are 5 inch blocks in this box.

1 1/2 inch and some strips in this one – I have

007

11 boxes on a shelf all stacked up – now someday I need to get some down and continue filling them up

004

As I have all these scraps in a basket – I can easily fill up all those boxes and still need more I bet!

012

I also use baskets – I have 3 of them although one is empty right now and sitting above the scraps as shown above!

009

Plastic boxes with all needed for a project

011

I have several of these snapware boxes – they come in a variety of sizes and I have several

014

Canvas boxes with patterns in them – as you can see I ran out of space and have four stacked up here – I used to use them for storing projects in and then I switched to the pink stripped baskets – I need to figure out where to put these and use them!

013

So I use plastic, canvas, baskets, and boxes and I need to clean up this room but I will wait until the studio tour is over to do it!!

I should get some pretty boxes to add some color to my gray and white spaces.

You are very organized and you have given me some great ideas! It sure makes it easy to work on a project when you know where to find it…that could be my problem lol.

The stack of those fanciful boxes is like a 3-D quilt!! I love this idea so much. Thanks
