Patchwork of Course

The baby quilt is finally coming to an end – I have the binding machine stitched down and now working on the hand stitching part of it.  Would you believe I only had 10 inches of the yellow left over when I had finished the machine stitching-that was close!

The half way point is well within sight on the Patchwork of the Crosses – I hadn’t even realized it the previous time that I had rolled the quilt – I guess I wasn’t thinking it was anywhere near – there are 7 rows of Crosses and I have finished 2 rows – the Green/Yellow block that the notepad is next to is the half way point – row #4 so the middle of that row is it.  I won’t say I will continue to work almost every night at it but so far I have done most evenings sitting here at the frame since I put it on it back on February 7th.  What I am doing is not a complicated design and the quilting isn’t as heavy as I put in some so it is nice to know it is moving along.

This is the last corner to applique on Floral Fantasy – now this quilt is moving slow!  I have a ton more applique to do on this quilt along the borders – it will be nice to get this corner done though.  Once again I am working on “too” many tops – but it keeps me from getting bored Smile  Thank you to all the compliments on the border that I am designing for the Granny Squares – such kind comments from you all – makes blogging a very special hobby!

Again I have been busy and missed many posts. Great progress on your quilts. Love the border you decided on the baby quilt.

What are those clips you’re using to hold the binding in place while you stitch it down? Are those hair barrettes?

I love the gold and aqua border on the baby quilt, that looks great!

You’re moving right along on the POTC … of course, that means that you fall “behind” on something else (Floral Fantasy) … the dilemma of working on more than one project at a time. 😉
