Sunday was a busy day and expect today well be too. I spent a good part of the day helping Mike with some house stuff and then settled in the sewing room in the late afternoon for printing of tumblers and cutting – I now have 1,200 plain tumblers and 1,100 prints!
These are all the prints that I need to cut (360 a couple extra tossed in I will put extra in the box of both plain and print just in case needed for some reason) – now that I know I have the same amount in the plain I felt like I just wanted to get these squares laid out to be ready to start to cut them today. From my many packages of mini charms I have plenty left over for another project – I might scatter them throughout the postage stamp quilt that I started last week that is up on the design wall – I haven’t worked on it since last week as I have been busy doing other things but maybe I will get back to work on it this week for a little bit – I actually do not have a lot of 2.5 inch squares precut so these leftover from the packages will come in mighty handy.
I started to put together the next row for the diamonds last night as we were settled in front of the tv to continue to watch our series on DVD that we have been watching for the last 3 or 4 weeks now.
I was able to finish the end of row 3 of the blocks Saturday night and roll Insanity Revisited down work started on Row 4 (out of 13 rows of blocks) not too much longer before I will say I am half way done – row 7 half way through it is half way done – but I doubt I will get that far before we leave on our trip at the beginning of August.
It is getting back to hot and humid and I will need to start to water the garden plants again – I imagine the sun will start to dry these plants out, especially the ones that haven’t been doing all that great to begin with. Hope you all had a great weekend.

You have – again – been a busy bee! So much is happening with your projects with constant progress 🙂
Fabulous progress on your IR quilt. Wow, that’s a lot of little tumblers … so cute! You’re ready to go with them … and it will be time to head out before too long, won’t it?
Looks like you’re making good and steady progress on all your projects Karen. You’ll have LOTS of tumblers to keep you busy on your trip!!!
Looks like you had another productive weekend! That is a lot of tumbler blocks 🙂
You have been very busy, & will be in the future by the looks of all those tumblers. Look forward to seeing the progress.
Cant wait to see what you do with the tumblers. Are they printed on Inklingo?
