And the Winner Is

And the winner of the pattern give away for Monday’s drawing is Shawneen who wants patterns #1 –4 & 5 – Shawnee send me your mailing address.

the next drawing is on Wednesday – so if you wish to win the left over patterns pick 3 and put the numbers in the comments section on today’s post.  On Wednesday the winner will get the number on the patterns she wants and the second choice will get what is left unless she doesn’t want them – if that is the case then I will pick another.

The patterns left to choose now are #2 on the left and #3 on the right.

Number #6 on the left and #7 on the right

#9 on the left and #8 on the right –I mixed these two up when laying them down so look at the numbers on the patterns.

I am linking up to Judy’s Patchwork Times today and Sherri’s A Quilting Life – Sherri’s link up for scrappy quilt is new she just started it last week you might want to check it out. What a rainy icy day Sunday was.  A very light rain but temps stayed at or below 32 all day so we have a light layer of ice all around.  I stayed inside all day other than quickly going out on the porch to grab firewood.  It was a good day to sew – besides that the Packers were playing so watched the game in the afternoon.

I got the hanging sleeve on Dear Jane, Insanity Revisited and hope to get it hung up later today and will take a photo then.  I am still getting compliments on the finish – thank you all so much.

Four Patch Delight is finished and off the quilting frame and the binding is sewed down waiting for the hand stitching part.  I’ll take another photo after the quilt is washed and dried.

A messy sewing room today – the zigzag fabric is the backing for the Kansas Twister, I need to cut it and sew it together today, it is not a wide back.  I got it on a good sale at Hancocks of Paducah 6 yards for a total of $24 I believe.

004

An empty frame – you don’t see that often in this house.  And it won’t be for long.  I will get the backing fabric sewed and then I will be pinning the Kansas Twister to the frame to pin baste – then finally the Granny’s Got Style quilt will go on the frame – mid week?

Karen, your DJ is beautiful, congratulations on finishing it! Very inspiring as well and makes me want to get on with mine, which is about half quilted but has been abandoned for the time being while I work on my Love Entwined. The baby quilt is lovely as well, you are very productive! Celia in England

7&8 can’t wa to see your newest dear Jane hanging. It amazes me how quickly and seemingly without effort you get so much sewing and quilting done.
I am back to being sick again, not able to breathe well and deeply it takes so much effort to breathe that doing much of anything is slow slow going right now. Dr gave me a bag full of medication and lots of instructions so hopefully I will mend well and quickly
