Basketball and a Little Stitching

Attended a basket ball tournament for middle school after so many years was interesting.  I was told that the 3rd game the girls played was the best Ciera has played and she scored the highest ever – 14 points out of 39 was done by her – they won 2 out of the 3 games.  So here are a few photos of the games.

Ciera in the middle, a coach on one side and other players waiting for their turns on the court.

And to give you the general idea of what most of the photos looked liked LOL – try taking shots of active girls running and up and down the court and this is what you get!

The second counted cross stitch that Ciera is making – she is taking to this as a natural.

My second red work block on Winter Wonderland got a lot done in the afternoon as we skipped the bowling event – everyone was worn out from the basketball morning and we watched movies in the afternoon.

Ciera and I working on our needlework we are both concentrating hard aren’t’ we and didn’t even know our photos were taken.

Karate tournament today so Monday’s post will be karate photos – hope our Utah does well.  This one is out of town but not far- about 35 miles away -it well be another early day but not all day– might have to bring a coffee with me!  The weather is now saying winter weather Sunday night to Monday morning – 1 to 3 inches – might need those winter boots after all and it will be in the low 70’s when I get to Arkansas –

Hope you remember your coffee today! 😉 I can relate to those blurry action photos … I try taking pictures of the Ts swimming, with very little success. Hopefully the wintery weather won’t interfere with your return trip … although it will certainly make for a dramatic change – from snow to 70 degree weather. 😉

I love that picture of you and Ciera doing your needlework!!! It’s so nice that the two of you enjoy working with your hands and spending an afternoon together watching a movie and stitching. Precious times.
