Rainy Weekend

Craftsy

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you quilting mom’s out there – the Craftsy sale on classes goes though tomorrow – just click on the banner above if you want to treat yourself to a class.

It rained part of Friday, most of Saturday and more today and Monday morning – I’m sure we will all be ready to dry out!  I went down to check in the garden yesterday morning while it wasn’t raining and it looked like everything except the pumpkin had started to come up – but the ground was very, very wet and at that time we had only had a half of inch of rain, by early last evening it was 1.5 wonder what it is now, I hadn’t checked the rain gauge.

But seeing as it was raining I sat at the sewing machine and got one more section of the tumblers done.  Quite a bit still to do.  I am linking to Kathy’s Quilts today.

A little bit of a Winter Wonderland block started.

Quilting on Friday night on Granny.  When I get done with this row of blocks I will be half way done.  That will be awhile though as I can not reach across comfortable to do the whole block – It will be done in about 3 sections.

Through the window screen I saw a pair of doves wondering around – I normally have 3 or 4 pairs in the summer time – I wonder if they always come back to the same place like some birds do?  I haven’t a clue.

Your tumblers are beautiful. I like watching it grow. Winter Wonderland is going to be, well, wonderful. As for your Granny blocks. I am so jealous of your beautiful hand quilting.

Warm and sunny here. I sat outside in the gazebo to do some hand stitching today. I love the way you are quilting your granny square quilt. It will be stunning when it is done!
