Back To Normal

Just the two of us in our home again, our daughter and her family moved on to visit with son-in-law’s family almost 3 hours north of us.  I have some things put away and will work on the rest off and on today.

Just a few things to share – I got very little sewing done with the house so crowded, I just can’t concentrate and I’m not always in my usual sewing spot with the light available.  Five stars  circles! for Quilty 365 – I will work more on these the next couple days as I have about 8 more prepped to work on.  I am linking to Sew Fresh Quilts today.

My sewing room set back up to work in – everything had been cleared off the tables and the design off the wall as I didn’t want it to get shoved around and end up falling to the floor.  I will get some quilting done tonight I’m sure.

A shot of Ciera (13) and Utah (15) in their favorite positions with game going on the tv – they had taken over the living room tv for awhile but then were told to go to the smaller tv in the dining area off the kitchen.  They spend way too much time on X-Box but I guess when you have a lot of rain and the ground is too wet to walk on and explore the countryside there isn’t much else for them to do – they are small town kids not country kids so at a bit of a loss as to what to do.  Ciera did go with Melanie, Jessica and I to explore some antique shops yesterday but that was about it.

Thank you all who have been ordering through my links to Craftsy and AccuQuilt I do appreciate it.  The sale at Craftsy’s last through the end of the year – tomorrow last day of the year can you believe that – the year flew by.

I am glad your visit went well with your family.. love all the pics you shared while they were around… Hard to get that age kids motivated to do things I think! I noticed similar issues with my own at those ages when we traveled…
Enjoy your peace and quiet tomorrow once you have your house back to your normal settings and cleanliness… I am loving how your postage stamp quilt blocks are looking all together too! 🙂 Your sewing room looks awfully clean to work in too! 🙂 Kathi

I love the pics of your quilting and the frame that you use for handwork. What brand is the frame you use?
