Seeing as I just posted the mystery quilt last night this will be short post and a little later in the morning than usual.
I didn’t quilt last night but decided to give my fingers a rest and watched tv in the living room and worked on the scarf and a Daisy Chain block. The quilting here on Ciera’s quilt is from Wednesday night. I almost finished the length across but not quite.
I found a drafting ruler on Amazon with 1/16th markings and will be able to use it to at least mark cutting lines and then cut with the larger rulers. The one I order is a narrow metal ruler – lets hope it works good enough to cut accurately. I had not found the one I am positive I had! Yes it will probably mysteriously show up after the new one arrives – it was cheap so I won’t be out a lot of money.
Storms are moving in and it got up to 66 degrees yesterday – Mike and I were outside moving some rocks and enjoying the air. Now today maybe bad storms later? We will see.
We are supposed to have snow coming over the weekend – it’s been that way every weekend for awhile now – we’re in some kind of pattern with it! That gray with the snowflakes and red dots in your second picture is so pretty. Love the colors in Ciera’s quilt!
thanks – I like most of the combos for the star that I used – a couple I didn’t but at that point I just wasn’t going to change things!!
I love those stars, the colors are so pretty and your quilting is beautiful as usual. It’s really dark and cloudy here this morning, I guess the cold front is going through, but it’s still going to be in the 70s. Have a wonderful day, I’m off to print BH’s second clue.
it is nice this morning but supposed to start raining late this afternoon. I think I might not go to the fitness center today and work on Bonnie’s mystery this morning and then work outside before more rain comes in it is almost 70 here – must enjoy it while it last!
