I got more triangles sewn together for Panama Pyramids in Aqua for the RSC19 challenge earlier in the week – I still haven’t done colors for January and February in this and might not go back to do them but to carry this one forward to next year and continue the rest of this year and then next also. I have no idea right now what the size of this quilt will be for now I will continue as is – May I will do the same amount as what is there in the green and continue as it is. Linking to SoScrappy.
On Thursday night as I got caught up on the medical adventures of the Grey’s Anatomy team of slutty doctor’s LOL I drew lines on more hexies
And yesterday I sat at the machine and in 45 minutes I sewed 22 hexies (I timed it to see – I think that is much faster than I could do by hand) it really is much easier then I ever thought it would be. This pile was accomplished!
And I have about 12 more ready to go this weekend. I am also taking apart those I did with EPP so I can put them altogether the same way when ready. It isn’t easy and some might get tossed in the trash. I am not taking apart the individual trio’s but taking the basting stitches out and the papers then pressing the outer seams flat – 3 clusters left – thankfully I hadn’t done many this way before I switched – first to piece by hand then to piece by machine. Two more signatures came in yesterday – thank you Sandra and Celia! I now have 30 I think.
I was watching Netflix and the wind blowing the fully leafed out trees – spring! I do wish pollen season would hurry up and end but the trees are high in pollen right now and the grass is low so about a month to go I bet before the sinus headaches off and on are not an issue.
Quilting on Good Fortune from Thursday night
And work on the table runner last night while the news was on – the quilting I am showing has been done over 3 or 4 days.
You can’t really see it from the front so I showed the back first – the work is in the lower half around the applique.

I love your Pyramids project… whatever size and mix of colors it turns out… Glad you started that one as I am enjoying it! I love seeing you make your hexi’s via machine too… that actually looks like a lot more fun than my rooster hexi project but it is already all glue basted and they are odd sizes each piece so must be hand done… I will ponder doing proper hexies via machine for a future project… Good Fortune is looking GRAND!!! And the table topper is coming right along for you … sorry about the pollen and having to keep the house closed up because of it… hopefully the headaches will fade and you can be back out in it soon!

Your pyramids are beautiful! I will take a quilt made out of just those colors please. 🙂 It will be fun to see this one come together. How nice that you can sew your hexies on the machine. I havne’t done any EPP….yet! Have a nice weekend.
I just adopted a bag of mostly basted hexies from a friend. Thought I’d work on them on and off while I’m watching a show, but I haven’t started yet 🙂 All of your projects are looking good. Our trees haven’t leafed out yet, but the warm weather should help that along now.
The green and turquoise pyramids are pretty together! I have started a couple of RSC project later in the year, and just kept them going until I got all of the colors I wanted for the quilt, and that has worked fine for me. Glad your hexies are moving along, and what a pretty view out the window in your sewing room! Do you have a number of signatures you’re hoping to get for that quilt? I think someone asked you that yesterday, but I wax wondering, too.
I continue to be blown away by your hand quilting and all the accomplishments each week. The pyramids are looking wonderful!
That’s a lot of pretty triangles.
We had a great rain storm yesterday that cleared away a lot of pollen. Hopefully it’s mostly gone now.
What a lot of hexies you did on the sewing machine, so FAST! Love the colors in your Pyramid blocks, did you do them by machine or hand piecing, I can’t remember if you told us before. The quilting really shows up on the backing of your tablerunner, so pretty. The oak trees are pollinating here, and it’s really bad for me. I use my nose spray and allergy spray to no avail. I’ll be glad when the season is finished. Have a wonderful Easter weekend.
Your scrappy AQUA pyramids look great next to the green ones!!
So many pretty projects! I really like the green and aqua pyramids together.
Sent my signature without a note– I found it on the table today! Sorry, I wanted it in the mail before my daughter takes me to England on Easter Monday. Trying to figure out what to pack!
Happy Easter!
I love your Panama Pyramids–great colors! You have so many lovely projects in the works.
Beautiful triangles and your colors are gorgeous. I’m looking forward to the finish on Good Fortune but probably not as much as you!
Your pyramids look amazing!
