Well we have moved on and I do believe this WIFI will not work well either so I am going to try to keep this short – we are now in Arizona for the last 3 or 4 nights and last nights campsite was slightly improved over the last in that we had a palm tree next to us – granted a small one but it was a plant! the previous was gravel and no plants – if there had been another camper next to us they could and we could move the tables to be directly in front of our sites.
Today we are in Tucson and we are parked under a row of solar panels which gives shade for most of the day!! Weird but it works when it is 97 you want what little shade you can get – we will be here for several days
18 hexie diamonds so far – they are just laid out any old way not in the order they will be sewn.
I ran out of color groups that were all the same colors and now from the cut hexies I brought with me I am using all hexies that are in the same group – but not the same color – as the 3 on the top row are – blues, grays and pinkish/red – some will be like this and then when we get home I might have more of the solid colors
Mid week we will be on to New Mexico – I’m going to try to do another post or two and schedule but I don’t know if I will have luck – so if you do not hear from me that is why – it has been a rotten trip for being on line!

As long as you’re having a good time, don’t worry about being on line. That hot western sun sure is something, isn’t it? Here in the northeast, I don’t worry too much about finding shade to park under, but I sure do when I’m out west. Enjoy your time in Tucson!
The Arizona landscape is different than just about anywhere else! I didn’t realize it was still quite so hot there. We’ll be visiting my mom in Mesa in a couple weeks – I hope it cools down a bit! Your diamonds are so pretty! It doesn’t seem to matter if they have all the same print in the center or different ones in the same colorway.
Your diamonds are coming along beautifully! It’s awesome that the solar panels are doing a double duty. I hope your cold is getting better.
Your diamonds are looking awesome! Yes that old sun is hot when it’s 97. So glad we have had our first fall week, although today is suppose to almost reach 90 but Friday another cold front hits! Safe travels!
Wow, that is great that the camp site has solar panels for shade. Reminds me of Walmart in Truth or Consequences, NM. There are solar panels over much of the parking lot, and more Walmarts as well as other stores could do the same thing! EVEN here in eastern Oregon! We have finally got into the cold time of year, nights in the 20’s. Our fall is very short for working outside, and now the floor is cold under stocking feet. Nice work on those hexies!
