Ready to Quilt

I have been home for over 24 hours and I still had not picked up a needle at the time I was writing this!!  But I intended to as soon as I finished writing this post and getting it scheduled!

This is where I will start

I got some decorating done for Halloween/Autumn – after I went to the grocery store to restock the house – the pumpkins will turn into pumpkin pie down the road!

A ceramic pumpkin that is lite to show what it looks like – it is cream color – I think I showed it when I got it in early September before we left.

I got a little put away – but not a lot!

Hope I will have more to share in a day or two – in the meantime the camper is just about unpacked, the laundry is caught up – the flannel quilt has been put on the bed – we have some pretty chilly nights!  I did the grocery shopping and restocked the kitchen,  And fresh granola has been made – just a small batch I got so tired of it and needed a break from it when we were traveling and ended up dumping out a half container of it as it had gotten stale.  I do believe there is a fall festival today that we will run over to see for a little bit – it is usually quite small and not all that interesting so it doesn’t take long to go through!

Hi Karen, how nice to be back home safe and sound from your wonderful travels. Pretty pumpkins…I love the idea of recycling the decor into food later on…LOL. Your sewing room is so neat and organized. Happy Stitching!

There is always a lot of work to be done when you get home from a trip, isn’t there? Your table display is pretty and seasonal – love the colors in your tabletopper! The ceramic pumpkin is fun, too. I love the designs they have for those nowadays!

Welcome home! You will fall back into your quilting routine in no time at all. I really enjoyed the pictures from your travels, as I always do! It is always good to get back home, isn’t it…. It is really true, at least for me, that there is no place like home!!

Its always nice to get back home, isnt it. Your table decorations look great. And you will back in your happy place, sitting quilting, in no time at all.

Welcome home Karen, so glad you made it back safely. You’ve been busy as usual, and your pumpkins are so cute. Hope you enjoyed the festival and enjoy your stitching tomorrow!

There is no rest for the weary! Traveling is a lot of work, before, during, and after.

You must be working from a bottomless pit of energy reserves. I’d be completely wiped out after a long drive home. Looks like you have already done everything else. So sewing and quilting it is – uninterrupted, I hope.
