Just a little more on the border of Crossroads got done on Tuesday night – give me a couple more and it will be off the frame.
And I moved back over to the middle and picked up from there
this much left to do
I have a quilt displayed at the county library that Melanie works at and I am volunteering at. I’m not sure how long it will be on display but they wanted something hanging near the genealogy department so it is there for now. This is Floral Fantasy – a Michele Hill pattern that I finished in 2015.
A little more of the Dresden Garden quilt – I did the small dragonfly and the centers of the two remaining flowers . Then while watching the evening news I moved on to one of the flowers
I haven’t worked on any crochet recently and I still need to finish the shawl/blanket? I put it aside to concentrate on the Dresden’s as it is so near finishing it seems right to stick with it. Linking to Creative Compulsions —
Your quilt looks great on that brick wall! I can imagine they like having something to soften the look of the brick. One of the libraries I worked with has a brick wall just as you enter (it’s the back of the elevator). I suggested they use the space for displays which they do. It really helps make the area inviting.
It’s always a balancing act to know how much time to give to all our endeavors. My mind is split between 4 projects right now and I want to work on all of them at once! LOL
Your quilt at the library is gorgeous, Karen! I love the bright applique on the dark background. Glad you’re getting so close to finishing the quilting on Crossroads. Will the Dresden quilt go on the frame next?
Lucky patrons to see your beautiful Floral Fantasy, Karen. Yes, your Dresdens are almost done and look so pretty too. Happy Stitching!
Your quilt looks great at the library. It must be nice to see it in a public setting
I knew I’d missed one of your posts, and here it is! Your Floral Fantasy quilt is gorgeous! So nice that it is displayed in the library where so many can enjoy it. Thanks for linking up with Creative Compulsions!
Your Floral Fantasy quilt looks wonderful hanging in the library! Your Dresdens are looking lovely, too.
