Rolled The Quilt Down

The quilt is progressing – I might have to roll down one more time but it will seriously depend on far in I can reach comfortably – after last nights quilting session which had not happened yet as I typed this I will find out.  This area of Crossroads was finished and then it was rolled down.

And this is where I started last night. Right in the middle.  I might just reach to the end of the pink row and go all the way across and then roll it down one more time – that is a big lump of rolled up quilt to reach under at this point.

Good to see your progress on so many projects! I am slowly getting the 3″ churn dash blocks done for Long Time Gone. Today I’m house cleaning in advance of a goodbye party for my across the street neighbor. I made a couple of salads yesterday – both gluten and lactose free because another neighbor can’t have those. I want her to be able to eat something. It should be a fun evening. Anyway, maybe I’ll get some stitching in after I finish. I’m still working on those 21 3″ churn dashes for Long Time Gone. A friend warned me it takes longer than you think, but the result so far has been really nice.

Was anxious to see how the black block would turn out & it really is MOST attractive!

Love seeing all your projects moving along! Your redwork Santa is taking shape! I need to trace another embroidery design to work on in the evenings. Did you applique the centers of your Dresden flowers on to the flower before appliqueing to the quilt? I’m trying to get back to my Scrappy Sprouts project this week, and that’s something I need to do with my sunflowers.
