Sashing and nine patch blocks! then join them all together – I finished the last block yesterday
I need to look the setting over and decide what arraignment some might be moved. I will decide that before any sewing of the sashing and nine patches. A Charming Country Christmas. I will be linking to Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal for this as I did it – I finished all my blocks.
Quilting on the Dresden Garden from Saturday night
Other than that – time spent outside – picked flowers for the house as it is to rain today later and they will fall apart probably especially the tulips as they are getting older now
One of the little Redbud trees blooming so pretty now – I spotted this little tree about 4 or 5 years ago growing and marked it to make sure Mike didn’t cut it down – it is growing well now.
At the lake the trees leafing out
Oregano is back and growing really well.

Your Christmas blocks are lovely, this is going to be a beautiful quilt!
I love your Christmas Stars blocks!
i really like the Charming Country Christmas blocks. They will make up into a nice quilt.
Yay for making your goal, and those blocks are so pretty! How fun to have a vase of flowers from your yard after the cold winter months. I bet they have a lovely fragrance.
Congratulations on making your goal! It will be fun to see how the quilt comes together with the sashing and additional blocks. It’s looking very much like spring in your neck of the woods! You have lots of oregano growing – I bet it smells good!
Love all the Christmas blocks! Looking forward to seeing the sashings and nine patches. I bet you will have those done in no time at all!
We had a really warm day yesterday…in the mid 80’s… I worked in the yard most of the afternoon…I got a lot of stuff taken care of, but still have much more to go… Today won’t be quite as warm, but still a nice day. It is so nice to be able to get a head start with the spring yard work. Normally, it would still be too cold in late March…
Our pollen is in full swing… everything has a yellow covering! The wind picked up a couple of times when I was outside, and there were clouds of yellow swirling around….UGH!!!
I think you are a little bit ahead of us with things blooming…our azaleas are almost ready to bloom…maybe by next weekend. We have one dogwood that is beginning to open its buds…the other dogwoods are not quite that far. And our camellia that usually blooms in February is just starting to bloom now. It has white blooms and is usually beautiful but this year the blooms are fewer in number and not nearly as pretty. Between the high volume of rain over the winter and weather that bounced between mild and really cold, I think that combination of things affected the camellia…oh well…there is always next year!!
I am going out once a week to go mainly to the grocery store. Mike goes out about the same. I miss going to exercise, but I do have a stationary bicycle here, so with that, and the yard work I am keeping active.
I am still not back to my sewing ….I was reading a book that took me longer to finish than I had anticipated. I finished it last night, so now I am ready to get back to stitching.
Oh, those are charming blocks indeed! Redbud is such a lovely sight in the forest — a drift of beautiful pink in the springtime.
Can’t wait to see how the sashing will be made. Nice blocks! Finn and I are cross stitching this morning
Love those Christmas blocks. We still have lots of snow! Fun to see the blooming trees…we will get there someday!
Yay on completing your OMG! It’s going to be a gorgeous quilt. Redbuds are so pretty!

Your Christmas blocks all done, wonderful! This is going to be a great looking quilt.
It’s been so nice to be able to be outside these last few days…it’s been so sunny and warm here. Our cherry trees have budded out and tulips are blooming. So pretty! Just like your Christmas quilt – those blocks are gorgeous! And look at all the progress on your Dresden quilt! *Love* Thanks for sharing your projects on MCM Karen!
Your Christmas blocks are just beautiful–thank you so much for posting and sharing. I am sure that you brighten many people’s day–I know seeing your projects brightens my day!

So fabulous to have a fresh flower bouquet after all winter. And your Christmas blocks, oh what a beautiful quilt that will be. Looking forward to seeing that finish.
The redbuds seem especially pretty this year. Maybe I’m just taking more time to look at them.
Love your Christmas blocks. Being off blog land for some months, I think I have missed the Dresden Garden, can’t wait to see it done. Beautiful flowers from your garden.
Great blocks. Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
Fabulous blocks, and really looks like spring has arrived!
