Just so much to do out here sometimes – this year with staying home I have been paying attention to the garden besides quilting and sewing. Yesterday masks making continued and I need to send a bunch off to Jessica so they will have them for their cross country drive to their new home – I was finishing up two last night so they would be ready so I didn’t get any quilting done last night – but this is the area of Alaska I did on Monday night – sometimes I have messed up my drawing of lines which you might notice here and there and yes I know where they are but I just don’t spritz them out because then it would mess up more that I would need to redraw.
Stacks of masks – Linking to Quilt Fabrication-Midweek Makers —
When Wanda – Exuberant Color had her sale of fabric and quilt tops a couple weeks ago I was going to get one of her neutral packages but I was too late and I mentioned it to her and she put together another one for me and a couple others – it arrived today and I am so pleased with it – 36 pieces – I have followed Wanda since she started her blog – we actually started to blog within months of each other – she has the most wonderful sense of color – if you don’t read her blog you should check out her work!
Three sides of the Morning Glory border are done now and I’m working on the final side which is short so it shouldn’t take really long and I will have another top finished and in the “to be quilted” box
I think the deer are sticking around for awhile Mike saw all of them yesterday morning and then when I went out to water plants they were back – snapped one of them before it took off following the others to the woods.
And that is why the apple tree is surrounded by fencing wire
And the berry bushes that I planted this summer have netting wrapped around tomato cages – next year they will have fencing of some sort – amazing the blackberry bushes – both of them – have blossoms on them – this variety is supposed to have berries twice a season
More tomatoes in the bowl – I’m trying to gather up enough for a batch of marina sauce – I need 8 cups of crushed tomatoes – I will have more by Thursday and these will be good to use still

Oh, I liked the swatches you had from Wanda. Went over, but I can’t find a “SHOP”? Or perhaps she disclosed her fabric sources in an earlier post?
Speaking of shopping. Do you get amazon credit only for that line of products pictured at the bottom? If I click on one and end up at amazon but order other things, do you still get credits? I am faintly addicted to shopping there during the stay-at-home; : ) Take good care.
Thanks for the link to Wanda. I love her work – it’s very inspirational.
I will check out the other blog. Love those neutrals.
I was wondering also about the credit. Not sure how to go about it.?
Hopefully the deer will stay away from the tasty stuff in your garden! It’s so fun to see them, though. Looks like your tomatoes are doing really well! I’m still waiting to get the first one here! That stack of neutrals looks great to have in your stash – I always go through those so fast. Thanks for the recommendation to follow Wanda’s blog – I went over and subscribed!
I’m not surprised that Wanda would do that for you, she seems so kind. And is she ever talented – so many gorgeous quilts. Those tomatoes looks so good!
That is getting to be quite the pile of masks! So nice of Wanda to make up an extra pack of fabrics for you! I will start looking at her blog! Nice to see the deer – especially knowing your tree and berry bushes are safe.

Good morning, I’m having a nice catch -up read as it’s been a while since I’ve had a quiet moment to visit blogland. Your quilting looks great and I love the look of Morning Glory too – how good that it’s nearly in the quilting pile 🙂 To me it seems lovely to have the deer visiting but I do remember them cleaning out my (USA) brother’s garden one year. Well done on all the mask making too, I’m sure you’ll be able to make them in your sleep by now.
Looks like you are really keeping busy! I hope your plants don’t succumb to the deer! Your apples and berry plant look very happy!
