Several Projects

I really got busy yesterday and finished up the purple blocks I will share this again on Saturday for the link up but here is a photo of all blocks done lined up  – I have four more to make and then the sashing and nine patch cornerstones – right now for cornerstones and sashing & border I plan black and newsprint.

And Alaska was rolled down and work on the half way done row will start.  This area here was finished on Monday night

It is looking more and more like Hurricane Laura plans on traveling right across the middle of Arkansas so we will probably be in the area for about 4-6 inches of rain, wind, all that good stuff  – that we don’t want – I hope we do not loose power.  At least it will be downgraded to a tropical storm or depression by time it gets here on Thursday most likely.  I hope all of you on the coast have evacuated safely if you need to leave.

Country Charmer is coming along beautifully. Scrappy rainbow quilts are usually my favorite kind. Hopefully you’ll have good weather today before the rain tomorrow. Maybe Laurie will fizzle out like the last one did.

Ooh, halfway done quilting Alaska!! It’s looking great! I love your RSC blocks for this year, too, and I feel like your hexies just multiply like bunnies when no one is looking. :-). Hopefully the storm doesn’t cause too much trouble for you.

It’s so fun to see all your Country Charmer blocks laid out together! That’s going to be a pretty quilt! Love that center star of Alaska, too – so that means you are about halfway now – great progress. Hope the storm doesn’t dump too much on you. Our weather is always in extremes right now! We are finally supposed to cool down a bit by Friday, and looking forward to that!

Your Country Charmer quilt is going to be gorgeous. Can’t wait to see it with the sashings and borders. Stay safe out there with all that nasty weather headed your way.

Oh my gosh—I hope Laura does not cause too much havoc. it must be so nerve wracking waiting for her arrival and what she will bring. Stay safe!

I don’t know how I missed this post yesterday. Anyway, I love your Country Charmer blocks. So pretty! I noticed that the predicted path of Laura was right through Arkansas. Ugh.
