Yes I know I move really slow on piecing sometimes – but I want to get this block cleared off the cutting table so I can get ready for the new RSC color for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge the new color will be out today or tomorrow. So I am almost done with this block and will finish it up today. I got up to this part and then took a break
Then I got back to work on it and ready to sew the blocks together now to finish it off
The Pineapple Quilt did get rolled down yesterday before I got started quilting in the evening. And I was surprised but I do see the very beginning of row 9 all the way up there at the top! First this was the section and end of row 6 that I finished on Sunday night
And here it is rolled down – right up at the top of the frame is the beginning of row 9 which is the last row of blocks in the quilt.
AccuQuilt sale continues today is 31% OFF Your Order (use code: SCRAP31) I needed some more six inch cutting mats so got the double pack – that will last me awhile.
GREEN FAIRY IS TURNING 13 – use Code GFQ42 to get a discount on top of the sales – if you order over $75 you get free shipping. As far as I know this sale is still going on – it didn’t have an expire date on it so I’m not sure how long it runs.

I don’t remember how many pieces are in each of those Rose Garden blocks, but I know it would take me quite awhile to make even one block! I’m looking forward to the new RSC color, too – always ready to move on by this time of the month. The pineapple quilting is really moving along – looks good!
Dear Karen,
Another one done, they are all looking beautiful. Any guess as to what the new colour will be for September? We finally have cooler weather. All the windows are open and we have a lovely breeze.
I think it would probably take me a week or more to make one of those blocks! You are doing great. Wow – you can see the last row already? I do wonder if September will be light and bright green or orange….. I might order some backing from Connecting Threads. I’ll try and remember to click from your site – looks like 15% off for the labor day sale. Saw a pretty snowflake in grey… perfect for Hoarfrost.
I can see why you need breaks from the Rose Garden blocks. But they sure are pretty! I love how the quilting really makes the pineapple quilt pop.
Rose Garden blocks are beautiful and with a lot of pieces, each block equals at least to 9 blocks. I think you are doing a great job with them.
I loved seeing the Pineple quilt on the frame, when you show a close-up we lost track of the quilt size. And it is so well hand quilted.
Oh those blues make me smile 🙂 It is going to be absolutely beautiful!!!
I’ve guessed orange for the next RSC colour and have already made a few small blocks. Wonder if I chose correctly?
I always admire your daily progress on your various projects ts.
