Even though I was really taking my time with stuff yesterday I got a lot done. The 2 – 36 Patch blocks for the RSC quilt were made and I now have accomplished that goal of 20 blocks for that – now I will put it aside for a little bit and decide if it will be bigger or made as a table covering the size it is now – I could make alternative blocks and make it larger or continuing on with the theme of 2.5 blocks throughout – these are my 2 gray blocks done
As it would be now if I leave it this size – or maybe it could have sashing in between the blocks? I’m not really sure at this point like I say I will think on it for now – color arrangement will be moved around a little before I’m done I’m sure
the three pair of cut off pants were finally hemmed into capri’s – of course I only have today left to wear them and the outlook is barely 70 for highs for the next week after today – well maybe a couple more days in the low 80s I guess so might be able to wear them before they are put away for next spring – at least they won’t be sitting in the sewing room all winter
My basket of brown’s to go through for the two Star blocks for the other RSC quilt and the Love Letter’s applique block
Over the last couple days the binding has been stitched on one side of the Pineapple Quilt If I get any hand work done today it will be on this or the knitting – Jessica and Ciera are driving down for the day so we can see their new puppy and Melanie will be over too. I will link up to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching and plan to take a few stitches if I can before they arrive. Maybe my hands will feel like quilting tonight or Monday night.
From the back
Only a tiny bit of the crochet Holiday Blanket has started – now this is supposed to be a square but to my eye is looking more as a circle – I will have to watch that and make sure I do it right – the gold is the next color to do.

You did get a lot done yesterday! Enjoy the visit with your girls today.
Your gray blocks are pretty – lots of neat prints in them! It will be fun to see what browns you choose for the Love Letters block, too. Enjoy your family time with the girls! That sounds like the perfect way to spend the day.
Dear Karen,
I just love the binding fabric on the pineapple quilt. It makes it sing and dance. Very happy fabric for the binding. The crochet blanket is reminding us of of the fall colours of the leaves, as we celebrate our thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada. Spending time with our loved ones, no matter what time or occasion is always precious. Enjoy your visit with the girls and the new puppy!
Beautiful yarn colors and projects you are working on! Happy stitching!
I bet you are pleased you have tackled the hems on those trousers! I often put things aside, and when I come to do it, find it takes no time at all. These will be all ready and waiting for you next Spring and Summer.
You made quick work of those 36 patch blocks, they all look great together. How are your hands feeling now after the injections?
The backing on your Pineapple quilt is fabulous. How lovely this quilt is. Love all those grey prints dancing together. Enjoy your time with your guests. A new puppy sounds like a lot of mischief and so much fun.
Funny how hemming pants always takes less time than you think it will after they sit for a long time. Your work is lovely , I especially like the grey blocks.
Your crochet looks lovely and if you crochet your chain stitches tight, you may need an extra one in the corners to make it a true square. Take it easy on your hand..don’t rush it after your shot.
Your two new gray blocks are so pretty! I’m really picky about shades of gray, really liking some, but not others.
I love the backing on the pineapple quilt. I had forgotten what it looked like. The binding is going along nicely.
