Sewing Bag

I think this new traveling sewing bag is going to work out!    It expands really well.

I was working on counting hexies yesterday to make sure I have plenty to work on when traveling and packing the bag.  At the very back I was able to fold the top in progress

What a great bag for your hexies! Room for everything and it keeps all the bits and pieces organized.

That is a great travel bag. You were able to fit so much in it. I love all the different compartments.

That is a great bag to keep everything together so nice and neat.

The bag is awesome! You look organized and ready to go! I’ll bet you will be excited to get back to Yuletide when you return.

At first I thought you just whipped up that bag and sewed it yourself while the rest of us were sleeping. I was very much in awe of your productivity — as usual! ;-). It looks like that is going to work well for your projects on the go. That is a great idea, to bring not just one project but several to work on so you can switch back and forth. Not sure how soon you’re leaving, but I wish you safe travels and happy stitching every mile of the way!

That does look like a great travel stitching bag, and especially perfect for the hexies. Where did you say you found it? I’m curious about the neck light, too. I didn’t do much stitching on our trip because the one place we stayed the longest had terrible lighting for it. Looks like your hexies are packed and ready to go!

    Dear Karen,
You are ready for your holiday and the bag is perfect for taking everything with, all together in one place. I have one which all my appliqué pieces are organized in and it is the way to do it. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy the adventure.

What a great travel bag, Karen! Thanks so much for telling us about it.
    Safe travels!

Those travel bags are really handy. I used one when I was still teaching at the local sewing machine store and had all of the different extra feet for my sewing machine in some of the small compartments, scissors and thread in others. You will be so organized on your trip that it will be easy to pull out just what you need.

That is a fabulous travel bag. You were not only able to fit a lot but keep everything organised as well. I really like that!

I’ve been away so I’ve been catching up on some of your posts! That is a great project bag, I too love a bag with lots of see through zip pockets. Your various RSC projects are looking good, as are those hexies. I didn’t realise attic 24 had a new project out, I will check it out.

That bag is so awesome! I’m going to check it out.

I love that bag! I might have to look into that. I need to upgrade my current tool kit, sometimes things fall out of it.

  • Eileen Keane Sep 23, 2022 @ 7:49

Those bags are great! I had one for my applique tools and supplies for years, and just got another one for traveling.

  • Kathleen McCormick Sep 23, 2022 @ 16:20

That bag is perfect! I don’t plan on a lot of sewing travel, but even for current project organization, it is tempting!

Karen, j’admire ton sac de voyage. Il me semble bien pratique et tu as une vision générale de ce que tu y as rangé.

Wow that bag is perfect for your hexie project! I used to use bags similar to that for makeup and jewelry on trips. Now I’d use them for sewing stuff – lol! Did you make that bag?
