Seeing as I was gone a good part of yesterday as I said I wasn’t going to have anything done in the quilting room – but here are some blocks half way done on Rainbow Crossings from Monday night – not a lot got done last night but I was able to work at it a little.
Some parts of Arkansas are greener than other parts and photos taken from the car at 65 mph don’t turn out that great but this is how green it is in Little Rock
I was not driving! and here at home just a bare 75 miles away from Little Rock and a little further north it is almost as green and we have had 2 nights at 25 degrees and the coming weekend it will be about that or lower Friday through Sunday. Thank goodness I have no blossoms on any of the berry plants. Then back to a warm up I believe.

I am surprised you were able to quilt at all! It’s greening up nicely here, although it’s getting a tad below freezing at night. I think the freezing temps will be coming to an end soon though.
That is interesting – how green it is in some places in your state, but so cold right now where you are! It’s good to see the green – not much of that here yet, but hints of it. Hope your day went well and your thumb feels good.
Oooh, I can see the green! Welcome Spring! How are your hands this morning?
Karen – your hand stitching is so precise and pretty. I admire your skill.
Spring is always that battle of wanting everything to push buds yet hoping the last freeze has happened when they do. Our plum tree and blueberry plants are close to blossoming but we are still freezing at night. We keep hoping the buds won’t actually open yet!
You are ever a source of amazement. Love your snail trail by the way. It looks wonderful put together. And of course, seeing your green makes me jealous. I am really getting tired of winter here in Wisconsin. Thursdays tend to be snowstorms of late although today is going to be rain instead. We are at a balmy 40 degrees this morning. The warm brown in your knitting is such a great color.
