I did work on the doll quilt yesterday and have the top basted – the backing is the same as the sashing strips are – I will machine quilt this little quilt but I don’t know if I will get to it today, we are expecting our younger daughter for part of the day and overnight so it might be Monday before I get to it. LOVE that quilt. I’m tempted to try some blocks like that. Hope you are doing OK after the storm. Seems like your neck of the woods is getting the storms that ride the eastern half of that awful high that’s causing our yucky temps. I read that it is supposed to slide a little east around the 4th – can’t wait!
