And oh my this is a challenging NYB block to make – I picked out colors and got started off and on yesterday. One very challenging arc left to make on it today. This is what I have so far and yes my block is rarely ever square when I get done piecing – I have to square up when I am done – that is why all the outside edges are cut a half inch bigger on the outside edges then they need to be.
Only a little work left on this section of Noriko’s Star – still a lot to do but this section will be easy to keep track of – if I didn’t need 11 more of them it would be fun LOL as it is I take a lot of breaks. Linking to Tuesday to Do —

Smart to add fabric to be able to square it up later! Do you always do that? It all looks great! I worked on hexies yesterday and my hand is sore this morning. I never dreamed I’d get old so fast!!
The latest NYB looks very challenging. And I really like these sweet little flowers in the new round on Noriko’s Star.
I never can remember to cut things bigger so I’ll have plenty of room to square up! I really enjoy the closeups of the quilting and fabrics on Arkansas Traveler.

That is a good idea to have the outside pieces cut oversize. Have fun with that difficult part.
Oh my, I would say challenging is an understatement. I think it will be gorgeous when you’re done. I’m impressed that you have stayed with this project. To me, all the blocks look challenging.
