Well I did get started on a new New York Beauty block but I got caught up with other things and never did finish it. Here it is with pieces cut ready to use for the foundation.
And this is the little bit I got done with
Well I peddle with my exercise machine I have been slowly crocheting a new Afghan. One end looks uneven here but it actually isn’t I guess it is just the way the photo was taken. The next skein is a blue/green mixture so will add variety – I think I have 3 skeins of that one to mix in with these colors here – 2 skeins then 1 etc until it is used up (or big enough whichever comes first)
Quilting on Hunter’s Star from Tuesday night – hard to believe it is February now! Groundhog Day soon – will it or won’t it see it’s shadow and such a nonsense piece of fun it is anyhow – I always loved the movie “Groundhog Day” with Bill Murray but when I went to watch it last year I don’t think I could take more than 15 minutes and after the first “Phil, Phil , watch that first step it’s a doozie” or however it went I didn’t feel like watching it LOL

Happy February!
Your afghan is looking nice and long! Love the yarn. What is the stitch? I loved Groundhog Day also, but I feel the same way now when I see it – lol!
I like the color play in your NYB block. You have a lot of projects underway right now!
Such pretty colors in your NYB block! It will get done little by little. Crocheting the new afghan sounds like an enjoyable activity, too. Happy February!
Love the colors in your Afghan. Doing something while you work out helps so much in sticking to your exercise goals.
The movie: Sometimes you just need to get it out of your system. Haven’t seen is more than once and while enjoyable, once was enough! Your quilting is stupendous! I stand in AWE. Both the NY and the Hunter’s Star are breathtaking. Thanks so much for shaing! Awful muddy mess here in Chgo. Not hot enough or cold enough, just blah. Off to walk the dog who just doesn’t care! HA Thanks
I really like the stitch that you are using for the afghan.
