Can you all believe it is the end of March already – it is crazy I swear the days, weeks and months just fly by. Once again I didn’t get a lot done in the sewing room – it was just too nice outside.
I did manage to make myself make one of the 4 blocks needed for the bottom border of the NYB quilt – all of the pieces are cut I just haven’t felt much like sitting around sewing. I like the pretty yellow in this one.
It might get moved around a little on the wall but there it is for now.
Quilting on the beginning of a row for Hunter’s Star from Saturday night
For Slow Sunday Stitching with Kathy I will say I will work on my hexagons but I’m really not positive I will get to it.
To all those that celebrate Easter with time with their family have a great day!

Happy Easter to you, too, Karen. Will you be getting together with your daughters? We are going to the Chinese restaurant downtown (the only one open) with my son and a friend, although I did cook a small ham for dinner yesterday. This afternoon, I plan to do some hand stitching – working on a hexie block for the “Green Tea and Sweet Beans” quilt. It’s a slow process for me.
Happy Easter!!!
I love that yellow! It looks so pretty on the board. Your quilting on Hunter’s Star is really progressing
I don’t blame you for being outside – it really was nice. I read the solar eclipse forecast, and we will most like have cloudiness and rain here on April 8, and we are directly in the path of the eclipse. Shoot!
Yes March just zoomed by. We got the house nicely cleaned up and some desserts made yesterday, but I did manage to work on a quilt layout for a few minutes.
Hope you have a great Easter Sunday – we are waiting on daughter to announce what time they will be here for lunch!
So glad you’re having such nice weather, and enjoying being outside! We’re getting there, too, although haven’t started much outside yard work yet. Pretty new block for your NYB border! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter, Karen! Enjoy those good weather days. I haven’t figured out what happened to March either.
That yellow block is especially pretty!
It was nice yesterday. Even just a bit a day moves you farther along. Hope you get in a bit of slow stitching today while you are enjoying the warmer weather. Happy Easter.
Happy Easter!! We are on our own today, probably go for a nice bike ride this afternoon.
Happy Easter! It is raining here today. No daffodils here in SE Idaho yet. They will come as they always do. I will not fret the weather. We will have 60 degrees by Tuesday! Plus sun!
We had lovely sunshine yesterday, but back to the cold weather today! I don’t blame you for getting out when it’s nice. Happy Easter!
Love seeing all your projects! We had heavy rain the past couple of days, but now I think it will be clear for another couple of days. I need to get out and mow the back yard this week for sure. The days are flying by for me too. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter. I’m sure you are enjoying your time out in the garden, and working on your cutting, stitching, hand quilting.
Yes, the year is flying past. NYB is a stunning quilt.
The days, weeks, months are flying by much too quickly. I always think of the huge amount of time that must go into each of your NYB blocks. The one you’ve just completed is looking wonderful. How fabulous you’ve been enjoying being outside soaking up the spring sunshine. A Happy Easter to you, dear Karen.
Belated Happy Easter, Karen! I have also been distracted by the improving weather, and my husband’s offer of margaritas on our front deck! Stitching can wait! Joining you from Slow Sunday Stitching!
