Working with an all light color log cabin block can be a bit tricky I think. I had to cut more strips to get more variety for sure – you will start to see a pattern emerge in a couple weeks I’m sure – I just hope it looks good in the end! Two blocks – one light/dark added to the 3rd row and one all neutrals added to the top left.
Flower hexies are basted and one is put together for the next section of Noriko’s Star
Scrappy Crossroads from Sunday night.
I need to run to Little Rock today for my regular quarterly check up with my rheumatologist – earlier in the morning than usual – I hate that as with over an hours drive I have to wake up earlier than I like to do!! But seeing as I am there I will do a little shopping and lunch out – I might have time to for some sewing when I get home but it might just be evening quilting. At least the weather should be ok, it hasn’t been very cold here lately mainly in the low 50’s.

The blocks look great. Looking forward to the design reveal.
I love what you are doing with your log cabins, so so tempting to start making some, but they would become another project started but not finished for me, I’m sure. Good luck with your appointment. It is definitely going to be cooler here today, only in the low 40s.
At least your early morning appointment should get you there before rush hour and allow some play time. I hope your appontment goes well.
Your design idea for your log cabins is like a little mystery quilt for us readers! I’ll enjoy seeing it emerge. I hate those early appointments, too – they sure mess up your morning routine! Hope it’s a good doctor visit, though, and you enjoy your shopping and lunch out.
Ooh! Your log cabin is looking so good! And I’m intrigued by where the pattern is going. I see my rheumatologist tomorrow. I hope your visit with yours goes well.
I think I see a zig zag pattern emerge on the LC quilt.
I can’t quite visual the pattern you’ve outlined for the log cabin, so it will be fun to watch it come together.
