Last Border

Finally on to the last border except I did nothing on it yesterday but get it pinned on the wall – the red border is up there in three pieces and will get stitched maybe today and pinned in place and start the patchwork.  If I really get busy on it I can finish it in a couple days or so – but probably 3 or 4 at the rate I go at times.

And the New York Beauty is rolled down after the quilting done on Thursday night night

Now it is rolled down and I’m tired of crosshatch so I think I will start in the middle and work out to one side and give myself a break on the crosshatch.  I am linking to Patchwork & Quilting today.

On to the exciting part of your hand quilting! I can see how the cross hatching could get tedious. Have a great day.

Cross hatching certainly could get tedious, now you can have some fun. Better enjoy your day today with the upcoming cold week! It will be in the 60s here before the 20s tonight. We are going to head to the store today and hope we don’t have to get out next week!

It’s fun to see the wonderful colors on NYB again.

The NYB blocks are so pretty and colorful! I can see why you’d like to start your quilting there. It looks like this final border for Rose Garden will go together pretty quickly, too. You’re almost there!

The fun begins on you NYB. You will get to enjoy each block all over again as you do the quilting.

All I can say is wow! Both quilts are spectacular. I’m impressed you are quilting the NYB quilt.

The crosshatching does take a lot of stitching, but the final effect will be well worth it.

The red quilt is just gorgeous. Wow! Your quilting on New York Beauty is wonderful. I can see how cross-hatch can get tedious after a while. The hexies look great.
