A Little More Quilting

I might have to sit two times a day at the frame to make any progress on The Rose Garden right now – but I sat for 25 minutes and quilted a little more last night.  Just enough to feel like some progress was made.  I forgot to spritz out the blue lines – I will get that done today but by leaving them in you can see what was freshly done.

Besides that I just did more hexies and I was reading the newest Eve Dallas book by J. D. Robb called “Framed in Death” – I don’t have that one in audio so it was reading most of the day and nothing else.

I’m working on putting the 3 row together – one more white print row and then the flowers start to be added in.  This row did get done and I started to add it to the section last night while I was watching “Tony & Ziva” on Paramount – I must say so far it is not getting me caught up in the action and I’m not impressed with it yet but I only watched the first show – for those of you who don’t know -the two characters were on NCIS for a great number of years and then left the show and this picks up with their life in Europe about 10 years later. They are no longer a part of NCIS but for some reason they carry their badges with them still so they can get into places by holding up a badge (that is no longer valid).

I didn’t know that Tony and Ziva started their own show. I used to watch NCIS several years ago.

It’s great you were able to sit that long and stitch! Your progress is great from my viewpoint, and this will be a thing of the past before you know it. But I remember when people told me I was doing great after my foot surgery, when I just wanted the swelling to go down, the soreness to go away, and to get off the crutches, then out of the boot!
We had severe storms last night, no damage here, around town some trees down, lots of lightning and almost 2 inches of rain. But south of us had lots of wind damage. Have you heard anything from your brother in Plano?

That’s great that you are able to quilt for a little longer session. Probably 2 shorter sessions would be better for your back than one long session.
I was disappointed to see Tony and Ziva was only on Paramount+ and not on regular cable. I hope they will rerun them to cable next.

I’m glad you’ve been able to get back to a little bit of quilting – two shorter sessions in a day sounds like a good idea! I bought that book, too – that is my favorite series – it has been a good one for our trip. I’ve been interested in the Tony and Ziva show, too – I always liked them on NCIS – but it sounds like you aren’t giving it a very high rating! Maybe it will get better.

Nice to see that you are able to hand quilt for a few minutes here and there. Recovery take time, but you will get there. I have been an NCIS fan since day one and a Tony/Ziva fan. Watched the first three episodes and they didn’t grab me like I thought they would. Once thing that I have read on Facebook is how many viewers were upset by the foul language used in the episodes. Really unnecessary and uncalled for in my opinion.
