Working on the Same Three

Nothing much is changing here – the same three projects are getting worked on day in and day out it seems.

The hexies were brought outside again to work on – I think yesterday was our last cool day and today will be back in the mid-80’s then we are moving back to the 90’s and windows will be shut again.  Maybe after a full 7 days or so in the 90’s it will be back to being nice again?  But in the meantime more hexies were stitched.

By working on Under the Big Top I was able to get the other two sides of red done – now on to the gray.

A little more quilting was done on Sunday night on The Rose Garden – some of what is pictured here was from Saturday but I didn’t remember where I had picked up at.

You are getting so close to finishing your Henie quilt but I imagine it does feel like the same three projects for a bit now. Are you still able to increase your steps each day?

You are making progess on all fronts! Maybe the cool weather will return soon.

It’s fun to see the flower color appear on your hexie corner.

I finally caught up! I love the borders for Under the Big Top and nice to see the progression on all fronts. That sewing machine posture is due to wanting to see things and that chairs and tables are all the wrong height. I am glad the doctor was pleased, but like you, I hate that it takes longer for us to heal! You are doing well, so keep it up, a little each day on all fronts….

Are you adding another border on Big Top? I forgot. Glad you got to enjoy another day outside. Our pergola is a nice place to sit but I need to spray the chairs – spiders like to nest in the cushions!
We have another day of low 80s, then back to 90s. I read that another change should come iaround the 3rd week of September – maybe that will signal the end of 90s.

You are smart to stick with your three projects – that’s how you get things done! Especially when it comes to borders – I’m always tempted to leave borders for another time. It looks like Colorado is in the upper 80s this week – that’s a little warm for September. We’ve been enjoying 60s here in Oregon – very refreshing!

The red border looks good on Under the big top.
It was nice to have a cool spell for a while and now we will be up in the high 80s by Saturday. It’s up to 75 now, 10 degrees warmer than last week.
