Even though we don’t run to the malls it was still a long day it seemed with a doctor appointment late morning yesterday – we had to be on the road shortly after 10 AM and then the appointment and blood work. Lunch and Sam’s to restock larger amounts of things like we normally do. I thought my prescriptions would be filled by time we got home like they are sometimes but the Medical office got a new system in it seems and half of the prescriptions were refilled and the other half didn’t get in the system. So now I need to check with the pharmacy this morning to see if there was a delay or if I need to contact the office. I did check into the new system on line and had to fix things as my email wasn’t even correct. Waiting for a verification code took forever. One of my medications wasn’t even listed for the right dosage so I need to get that corrected. And of course right before Christmas I didn’t even notice if they are open today or Friday so I might need to wait for it until Monday. I get frustrated easily with medical office issues.
I have just a little to show for the day – one puzzle block started.
And quilting on Noriko’s Star from Monday night. I think the X’s will work out well in that area.
It was 78 degrees yesterday – I think it hit a record but I’m not sure – the rest of the week will be like this – windows were open last night and I imagine I will have them open off and on all week if this warm weather really continues – after Christmas we are to drop of course to the 20-30 range day time I think!!
I’m not sure who I answered yesterday in emails I was doing some on the phone and some on the computer if you asked a question and I didn’t answer that was why.

Glad your appointment and shopping trip went well. We have medical office issues too, it gets quite frustrating. One time I had to call the business office and tell them what the medical coding should be so we would not get charged – lol! I like the X’s on Noriko’s Star. It was 76° here yesterday and supposed to be 80° for Christmas day. We will have to have the AC on with 6 kids in the house! If I haven’t said it yet, I hope you and your family have a very happy Christmas.
Sounds like it wasn’t too bad of a foray when you were out and about. Dealing with prescriptions is a pain. I don’t have any, but my I hear my mother’s horror stories about things falling through the cracks. Hard to believe it’s already Christmas Eve. It’s been too warm for it to be the holiday. But I’m not complaining, it does make travel easier.
Days like that feel long and do wear you out! And with it being Christmas, the stores are so busy, too. Hope you’re able to get the prescription issues straightened out. Those green hexies are going to make a pretty block! Very warm here, too, for late December – I think we broke a record with the high temperature on Monday.
It was nice that you had a warm day too be out and about but 78 is pretty warm, especially when the temperature is going to drop again. We are supposed to get our warm days Friday and Saturday, in the low 50s. It sounds like we will start the new year in the 20s.
You’re very brave to go to Sam’s right before Christmas. I avoid Costco and Walmart any time after Thanksgiving. I hope you get the prescription mess straightened and don’t run short of any of them. Those temperatures are really warm for this time of year, even for you. We had snow on Tuesday, but it’s all melted. Another storm is coming Friday, though. Merry Christmas.
Hope the scripts get corrected quickly. I switched mine to the new CHAMPVA and they don’t see me in the system yet. Sigh…. hoping it is corrected quickly in the new year since I will need refills by then. Hope you enjoy the last bit of warm before the chilly weather sweeps in. I like the quilting X on NS and the pretty green fabric for your next puzzle piece. Merry Christmas.
