I made the Pineapple block that I was going to make yesterday only to have tossed it in the trash after a bit of ripping. It turned out good.
Added it to the wall ad it is growing a bit.
I didn’t get done with the units in this row of Honey, Honey but maybe I can come close to getting it done today. I can get these stitched and maybe stitched to the body of the quilt too for Slow Sunday Stitching with Kathy and linking to Kate’s Life in Stitches also.
The quilting on Silent Night is coming along – I rolled the quilt down and I believe the half way is at the top of the frame so I’m about a quarter of the way done on this one smaller quilt. I might have time this year to put another smaller quilt on the frame to finish but I don’t know about finish. (That was on yesterday’s post I think)
I did nothing outside other than collect the mail – this was us at noon – it did drop fairly quickly from that but at about 2 it was at 98 and stayed there the rest of the daylight hours and then dropping quickly to about 94 after that that.
The pineapple blocks are put away and the box with Timeless is out. I was reading the instructions last night. I moved the Timeless quilt back to the center if the design wall.
this is how much fabric is left over from parts 1, 2, & 3. I don’t know if we will be told to use any of this leftover (the package on the right) but it is a bit so if we are told to use these leftover they were very generous – we will see – and I went and bough the “boo-boo” package too in case of mistakes.
We have been being entertained with the kitty Raven. She behaves good most of the time! She does like shoelaces though and discovered mine pulling on them and chewing – we got her some toys she does play with them too.
This is her hiding place in the kitchen next to the refrigerator under a skinny table I have up against the wall holding the canisters of flour ect and the Instapot.
her toy snake
And just being the princess knocking the garden baskets out of the windowsill area by the door and generally just having fun.

Raven will keep you entertained with her antics. She looks very happy. The next part of Timeless seems a bit more labour intensive. Honey honey is slowly getting bigger. Are you aiming for a bed sized quilt?
Stay cool.
Haha, Raven is certainly a typical kitten! Hope she will stay out of her plants. I can’t have plants because Rosie and Jack like to chew on every leaf they find, and some plants are toxic anyway, so I just gave up. She sure is a cutie.
I like the pineapple blocks! How big will Honey Honey be?
It’s always good to have more than one project to work on so we don’t get bored with them quickly. I dug through my fall panels tub and picked out ones to work on this week as I sold two of the new ones already.
You caught some cute pictures of Raven! She does look very entertaining. I like that new block for the pineapple quilt – it seems like anything will work for those! I think I would get the boo boo kit for a BOM, too – running out of fabric would be a big worry for me.
The pineapple quilt will be so beautiful! Love the pics of Raven. She is settling in nicely. She picked her perfect owner!
You have a nice variety of colors in the pineapple blocks.
I hope the basket block is an easy one because there are lots of them.
I hope your heat leaves for awhile. We are having a couple nice days before it heats back up a little at the middle of the week.
Kittens are fun and have a lot of energy. Raven will keep you on your toes. Has she seen you knitting yet? Those moving knitting kneedles and the yarn are irresistible to cats. Even Gemma, at 8 years old, is keen to get involved with my knitting.
Wow! That’s HOT! Hope you catch a break soon. I wouldn’t even move if it were that hot every day.
The pineapple blocks are coming along. Enjoy the next step in Timeless. Kitties can be such fun. I miss My Girl’s kitty. Queenie definitely keeps us entrained when she visits.
