I thought I might make some progress on Timeless but in the end I only finished one part of the instructions – make some tiny four patches. I think there are 22 pieces there if I remember these are now 2 inches “big” The next part is more of the double flying geese of which will be in every part of this quilt I think. I should be an expert by time I am done. I must admit one thing I find failing in this quilt pattern is the directions. I think they could be a little clearer – instead you have to keep flipping back to past pages to find how you are to make things. I will try to get another segment of the pattern done today.
More pieces ready to be thread basted for the next row of Honey, Honey I found one in the box that had been made for the last row and then was traded out because the color didn’t work right. I have not matched these up to the row they will be in so some of these will need to be changed out as well, but I will start with these.
This part of Silent Night was quilted a couple nights ago and marked as I didn’t do any on Tuesday night.
Marked and ready for stitches
I ran out of granola yesterday morning so I waited until it cooled off a little to make it in the evening – LOL – it didn’t cool off – the high was 102 and when I made the granola last night at about 7PM it was about 98 degrees – it wasn’t that much cooler in the morning when I should have done it I woke up early at around 6:15 and it was already 80 and by 9 it was in the 90’s. More hot days but might be a “cooler” day here or there and the maybe closer to normal around the 20th? I sure hope so
Yesterday morning grooming herself after breakfast – she likes to sit and lay on the recliner by my feet.
